Installing ASReml Standalone

Download the installer for your platform from the releases page (always points at the current stable release) and run it:

Platform	Installer
Rocky Linux 9 / RHEL 9	`.rpm` — `sudo rpm -i ASReml-*.rpm`
Ubuntu 20.04 / 22.04 / 24.04	`.deb` — `sudo dpkg -i ASReml-*.deb`
Windows 10/11	`.msi` — run the installer
macOS (Intel or Apple Silicon)	`.dmg` — drag to Applications

Requirements

A valid ASReml license — see the Knowledge Base for

activation

Linux builds need libXm/libXp (Motif) for the GUI — installed automatically by the

.rpm/.deb package's dependencies
